Bold Energy came to life out of the desire to increase the use of renewable energy in Uganda for business, cooking and lighting. Dependence on wood burning for charcoal and unreliable power supply, despite the increased generation of hydroelectric power, created the need for renewable energy technologies all around the country. In 2017, Bold Energy was born to offer solutions through the uptake of solar, energy-saving cooking technologies and knowledge sharing. With the vision to facilitate the adoption of new, clean and renewable energies, Bold Energy has created a number of products to reduce thedependence on the depleting natural resources and conserve the environment.
